My choice for today's hike was West Canyon, a flat area on gravel road, which winds for 3.9 miles. In order to make it back to the parking lot for the shuttle I reversed course at three miles, culminating in a six mile hike for today. Back to campus for Stretch class and then Hawaiian Pizza for lunch. This was definitely the best of the three pizzas I've had since I've been here.
Afternoon classes (Mountain, Kickboxing, Stretch) were better than ever. I've got to find some classes at Lifetime that can compare to keep my momentum going. The 6:00 a.m. class has become a habit, which really does energize me for the day. This is one habit I'd definitely love to take home. The massages would be another, but I guess I can't have everything.
Tonight's dinner, Salmon with Israeli Couscous, was the best I've had since I've been here. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and the couscous was the ideal complement to the fish. No dessert tonight, but the meal was plenty to hold me over for breakfast. We have the option of having a piece of fruit to round out our 1200 calories each day, but I don't think I'll be needing it.
I have no massages scheduled, no Biggest Loser to watch, and other than finishing my laundry, a very uneventful night planned. I'm scheduled for a 6:30 a.m. training session with Sharon, so rest this evening is a great idea.
Enjoy your evening!
